Life
"When I got into metal, I never knew what was coming. I didn't know what a mosh pit was, or that everyone can do whatever at a show and no one gives a shit. I was so racked up on what society thought of me. Sure, I was a little worried about that on occasion, but only because I was trying to do so much at once, and I wanted to look like I had things under control. But I figured real quick that I was no different than most. So I got right into the genre and finally started enjoying life. And then I started my first band (not naming) and I'll tell you right now, that was the greatest decision of my life, even though it ended in a disaster.
"That first band began as an alternative rock band. Yeah, I listened to metal, but I was still getting into it. So my best friend, at the time, and I cracked down to writing and yada-yada-yada, let's skip and get to the point. It took three years to finally start writing an EP. We had five originals beforehand, and the EP was our chance to have around ten tracks, due to the stand-alone single, 'America's Dead'. Well, shit happened and we were forced to disband. I owned rights to all the music, so I kept it and re-wrote what I felt needed to be revised.
"When we disbanded, the friendships between the final line-up were severed. At times, I tried to rebuild, but as with everything in the old band, it was done in vain. So I wrapped up the past by pulling seven demo tracks from my computer's hard drive and released them as an 'album'. The title seemed appropriate: 'Finale'. Shit, I'll bet you can find that record somewhere on the internet.
"Wolf In Vain was such a fitting name for the new band. I felt reborn, and my music had the same feeling. I was ready to do things the right way. So I began by recording the planned 'Thrash and Burn' EP that the first band started. I felt proud. Surely this would work."

Hobbies
"Well, OBVIOUSLY, I love music. My favorite genre is thrash metal. I just love the adrenaline rush you get from thrashing about an arena or stage when my favorite band is playing. I'm also big into the symphonic metal bands, like Nightwish and Epica.
But besides music, I love art. I draw quite often, even paint every-now-and-again. All that stuff's on my person site (taylorwaynecolon.com). Anyways, art has always been a hobby. I was doing my own comic books before I was eight-years-old. Nowadays, most of my art is digital, but I do try my hardest to sketch with the classics: paper and a pencil.
