We played a week ago at Witt's End. Yeah, we got some footage for ya!

Earlier this morning, Taylor sat down with the site editor and talked about Wolf In Vain's debut album.
You have stated in several Twitter posts that it's going. It's being done. Is this the truth? "Well, [laughs], yeah, it's in the works, but in a very early stage. We have some sick riffs laid down, and about three finished demos. Plus, I have several ideas for some songs that would just be utterly bad ass. Will you be including your old band's [Whine Or Live Fearlessly] material on this release? I've actually been getting a lot of fan mail asking about whether or not the songs would be on this one. All I can say is that W.O.L.F. died. That shit's in the past. I lost dozens of close friends because of that band. So, it's not guaranteed I'll ever go back to those. I know I did "Road Rage" and "The Killer" on stage recently, but what else could I do? I needed a good setlist, and Wolf In Vain only had the EP at the time. There was also a new song at that last show, correct? Oh, yeah! "Damned" is what I called it. I figured I'd need a good song for the show. "Thrash and Burn" came out in August, but some of the stuff was written back in January. I wanted to show that I can write on the spot with ease. Sadly, my performance wasn't the best because I forgot ALL the lyrics I wrote for it, [laughs]. What are some of the topics going on in the new album? That's a good question. From what we have so far, there will be death, racing, a conceited soul, etc. We also have half a demo done dubbed "High Velocity", which is simply about being fast, whether you're racing, working, I don't care. Just being fast at whatever you want it to be. I'm not sure we'll have "Damned" on there. I'm working on a poetry book, where a majority of the songs are apocalypse styled. That lyrics I used on stage were taken right from one of the poems I wrote months ago. And then there was a song I promised to some friends I would make. Some people will yell out their own random words when they hammer their thumb or whatever, so I decided I would have to have my own phrase, because I was always burning myself at this KFC I worked at. So, "Gosh, Darn, Damnit," became a work in progress. You just mentioned a poetry book? Well, sure! Writing a poem isn't much different than writing a song. I'm good at both. Yeah, poems don't typically get associated with metal, I know, but that's why I decided to do this. It's rarely done. Think of it as the book of heavy metal poetry. Sounds interesting. Anything else about the new album? You now know as much as I do. We're really just getting started. The only other thing I can say is that I've had many praises on "Thrash and Burn" and I've sent many fans a write-back stating that this album will be just as fast, if not faster, than the EP. Well, that's all I got from the frontman, but stick around these next couple months as I will continue to update you guys when I can! You guys remember how we released a demo album in September 2012. In one month from now, the album will no longer be free. You will have to go through iTunes, Rhapsody, Google Play, etc. in order to hear this piece. However, only the original tracks can be bought. The only tracks that will remain available for streaming are the five cover songs. If you wish to download the album before this change occurs, please click the following link which will take you to MediaFire.com. So, unfortunately, those of you who haven't jammed out to this epic demo (that DOES include drums and all) will in fact miss out more than likely unless you get around to getting it within the next month. But, thrash metal lives on. \m/
http://www.mediafire.com/?5m2vujfeu33jvui Hey, rivet-heads! So, you all want to know when we start gigging? SOON!!! We just hired a temporary drummer who will be playing in the band until we find our official drummer. Things could change. though. Our temp. drummer could become our permanent drummer. Who knows? Who cares? What matters is that we have him learning the material at the moments, and he is coming along. In fact, he has progressed through half the material on "Metal Rebels" within the past two weeks. Give us some more time, folks! We are inching our way to GIG #1!!! With the temporary drummer now in (we will announce his name in the next few weeks), we have some even greater news. While he is learning the covers, Taylor and Matt have had time to sit down and plan out some new songs. A sneak peak at one of these may come out in the next few weeks. However, this first new song will have no appearance in the first few gigs. Taylor noted, "You know, I'd love to play it right away, but 'Metal Rebels' has many songs. I'd like to focus solely on those tracks for the first five or six gigs. We don't want to play every song right away. We want people to WANT to see us more than once." W.O.L.F. has had some trouble seeing the light at the end of the tunnel throughout our past. These past six months have shown the us struggling to break free from the path we were on, and set foot on a path that will take to the top of the world. We finally have our drummer. We have a kickass demo album (Metal Rebels). We have a team. We are a family. Now it's time to move forward and start our stage lives. We are almost ready. We're looking for people to try out for the bass position in the band. Think you have what it takes? Hopefully, because we need you. Just email us at [email protected] and we'll send you a package containing three demo songs, the tabs for them, and a cd with the demos, but the bass removed. Once you've learned the shit, email us again and we'll send you an audition date. We look forward to meeting whoever our next bassist will be!!!
For those of you who are unaware, W.O.L.F. is redoing "Back in the Day", with a little surprise. DRUMS. We have picked a release date, but will not announce until further notice. We're slowing down with this, as not to screwup like our last demo. Above is the revised "Road Rage", which has been unmixed. We will have the final mixed version on the demo and on YouTube when the rest is released. Thanks to all for being there for us!!!
